Caldwell Pool

Caldwell Pond In the tiny village of Caldwell (Cauldwell on some maps) the pool is down the track at the end of Church Lane (key needed). This pool is very old and as a result holds a large head of hard fighting Wild Carp to 10lbs. Barbless hooks must be used at all times! The pool also holds Roach, Bream, Perch and Tench.

Standing ‘at entrance gate’ to the right is the dam wall and in the near right hand corner depth is 12’ dropping to 2’ at the far end and 3’ in left-hand corner. Responds to all methods from waggler /maggot to a hair rigged boilie.

Bait boats are NOT allowed (rule 21)

Barbless Hooks Only
LEAVE NO LITTER
