Oddstone, Predator and Coton

The waters are very close to our Fly Fishing only water - see back page of the year book.
The lakes are on the site of a working gravel extraction company, and every care must be taken to follow the rules that we have been given.

a) STRICTLY NO NIGHT FISHING -

b) MEMBERS can only park in the car park shown, and NOT in the car parking area reserved to the fly fishermen, Park ‘end-on’ to the fence in the coarse fishing car park.

c) NO FISHING the fly fishing lake without the correct permit. ANYONE found doing so will lose their membership.

d) FISH only those waters indicated on the map, and by the signs erected. DO NOT wander away from the immediate fishing banks - It is a working pit.

e) MATCHES will be allowed, but prior notification will be given on the notice board by the coarse fishing car park.

f) OUR LOCK is on the main gate, if the gate is locked then make sure you lock it again after you have gone through. There is also our lock on the gate leading to the car parking areas. If yours is the last car to leave then lock the gate.

g) TAKE EVERY CARE passing down to the car parks, as fly fishermen may be casting, and won’t be able to see you.

h) UNDER 16 YRS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. The Coton Lake is to be taken on a one year only lease for the time being. Gravel extraction is to start near the lake shortly, and a conveyor belt is to be installed along the road. We may use the car park by the road until the conveyor belt is installed. After that we must use our existing car park and walk. Signs will be erected. Anyone seen crossing or trying to cross the conveyor belt will lose membership, as it is very dangerous and a health and safety issues for Hansons. WE MUST CONTINUE TO PROVE THAT WE ARE A RESPONSIBLE CLUB.
