New Senior and OAP members are required to pay a Joining Fee of £35. Where a membership lapses by non payment of a subscription by 31st May, it may be reinstated upon payment of the subscription and a rejoining fee of £10, provided this is requested before 31st December in the year that it lapses.

All cheques should be made payable to B.M.A.A.

We now prefer that all subscriptions are paid by cheque.

Please note that if any cheques are returned, the Association incurs charges. We will therefore charge you £10 if your cheque is not honoured by your bank.

Subscriptions are required each season during May. If renewing by post, a large Stamped Addressed Envelope (C5 - 6¼”x 9” or larger) is required together with your fishing permit, old receipt and remittance (if you wish to go fishing please take a PHOTOCOPY of your ID card and receipt so that you will have it ready for the bailiffs - otherwise you may be asked to leave the water). Use the appropriate ‘large’ stamp. More than one license may cost more and a larger envelope will be needed. If you do not send either the correct postage or envelope size then we can only afford to return your fishing permit and receipt. Please send to the Secretary.

Paying-in nights are each Wednesday in May from 7.30 to 9.30 at the Anglers Social Club.

Juniors are defined as persons of age up to and including 16 as at 31st May, renewals and new junior members are taken at any time.

Intermediate members are between 17 and 21 as at 31st May, (23 if in full time education).

Junior and Intermediate membership can be obtained or renewed by post to the Secretary, or at any of the paying in nights for senior members. Initial information required:, date of birth, name, address and a passport sized photograph. If between 21 and 23, proof of being in full time education is required. NOTE that anglers 12 yrs and over must purchase an E.A.Rod licence.

O.A.P. members are those eligible for State Retirement Pension before the start of the subscription year. The first time you claim this membership, please bring/send proof of pension entitlement.

All members (except Juniors) may purchase a day ticket to take a Guest with them when visiting any of our waters (except the trout lake). Guest Tickets cost £7.50 each and are valid from dawn until dusk. Restrictions to availability may apply. eg. at Branston Water Park.

Night permits (£30) are required to night fish or stay overnight at Branston. See Branston Page for conditions/restrictions and how to apply.

In the event of needing to report a problem at our waters, contact Head Bailiff, Gordon Plant on 07767 637477, or the secretary, Dave Clark.
